Description
Raghavan

This Kamal starrer is a police story

The film is about two cops and their friendship. Raghavan (Kamal Haasan) is a DCP and Anand Raj (Prakash Raj) is his superior. Raghavan's girlfriend Meenakshi (Kamalini Mukherjee) is killed by some unidentified persons. Raghavan and Anand Raj hunt down the killers and finish them off.

In the meanwhile., Anand Raj's daughter is kidnapped and later found murdered. Anand Raj is distressed over this and decides to go the UDS with his wife so that he can forget all this.

Then comes news from New York that Anand Raj and his wife have been murdered. Raghavan goes to the US and during his investigation, he finds that a series of murders have taken place. He battles with the psychopath killers. He also meets Aradhana (Jyothika) in the US and she starts liking Raghavan.

Then the scene shifts back to India. The killers come to India and Raghavan manages to track them down and kills them. He is then united with Aradhana.

The film is rich on editing, lighting work and deft direction. But the film is more like a detective story and may not appeal to everyone.
